Our Mission
Empowered Roots strives to eradicate systemic obstacles and inequalities faced by the BIPOC community on a daily basis. Our mission is to dismantle oppressive structures that perpetuate racial injustices by actively advocating for policy reforms, conducting research to support evidence-based solutions, fostering community engagement, and providing resources that empower people of colour to navigate through these deeply ingrained barriers.
Our Story
Empowered Roots was founded by a rising junior in high school with a passion for addressing systemic inequities. So, in response to the ongoing social and political challenges faced by the BIPOC community she decided to create Empowered Roots. A passionate and dedicated individual with a vision of creating positive change and addressing the root causes of systemic racism. She believes that by working together and amplifying the voices of those who have been marginalized, we can build a more just and equitable society. Our organization provides a range of services and initiatives aimed at empowering individuals and communities, including advocacy, education, and community outreach programs.
